Why are Vuvuzelas allowed into the stadiums?

It annoys the hell out of me on tv and i heard it can get as loud as standing next to a jet engine at the stadiums. What happend to hearing each other countries chants during games...:think2:

It's horrible.

In the end I'm sure it's a money issue.
Those stupid things are probably selling like hotcakes.

its a culture thing, they are popular at all the African league games. Since your host nation is south Africa your pretty much going to have to deal with it, bc nobody has the balls to tell them the crowd has to act like they do in all the western leagues like england and usa

I don't think it's solely an African thing.
Didn't they have these lame horns at the last WC too ?

They are only the host tho..i still think FIFA should decide. I would think there is alot more people at these games than African league games making it much more deafening.
